ARENA HIRE

By making a booking you agree to our terms and conditions (see below).

Please note we are a mile along a narrow lane which is unsuitable for HGVs.  

We have a 65 x 45m enclosed paddock with logs etc available for mini XC practice.  Availability will be weather dependent.  If you would like to hire the paddock please contact us to check availability.

Unfortunately we don't allow dogs on site.

• Bookings must be made and paid for in advance of the hire via our website or by contacting us directly.  We are unable to hold booking slots without the hire fee being paid.
• A maximum of four horses is allowed per booking.
• All riders are required to wear suitable footwear with defined heels and riding hats conforming to the current British quality standard for riding hats. Body protectors are recommended for jumping.
• No riders under 5 are permitted to use the cross country field.
• Riders under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and must be supervised at all times.
• Hirers must ensure that at least one person in the party carries a working mobile phone.
• Any damage must be reported immediately. We reserve the right to charge the hirer for any damage at replacement value plus any carriage costs. 
• Hirers are asked to keep to their allotted time slot. When a course of jumps is included with the arena hire, if the hirer wishes to raise or lower the jumps they must include this in their hire period. 
• All equipment to be put back where it was found and course to be left set up/put back to how it was found for the next hirer. 
• Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the hire slot will be refunded.  If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours prior to the hire slot we will try to facilitate a change of booking time.  Please note that if the booking is made for a time we have a course of jumps, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to swap the booking to another date with jumps as they are only available for limited periods.
• We reserve the right to cancel any booking without notice. We reserve the right to refuse any admission. We cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss or liability howsoever caused.
• No dogs are allowed on the property.
• No access to the stable yard area at any time.
• All droppings in the arena or car park must be picked up. Poo picking equipment is available in the arena. 
• CCTV is in operation on the property.
• We do not accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to Users, horses, property, vehicles and their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. All visitors are advised to ensure vehicles and personal property remain suitably secured to avoid damage and/or loss.
• Riding, working with and handling horses/ponies can be dangerous and horses/ponies may be unpredictable. Persons using the Facility do so at their own risk and the Company will not be held responsible for any incident, injury or loss. In agreeing to these terms, all users and accompanying parties agree to indemnify the Company against any legal action whatsoever arising from an incident.
• All commercial trainers, coaches, event organisers, teachers or any person acting in a similar capacity must hold public liability insurance, appropriate for the activity undertaken, for no less than £2,000,000 (two million pounds).We may request to see evidence of such insurance at the time of initial booking, and reserves the right to refuse use of the facilities where such evidence has not been provided. Any person bringing a paid groom, rider or assistant onto the premises must hold employer’s liability insurance. We reserve the right to request evidence of such insurance at any time. Individual riders are recommended to hold personal liability and personal accident insurance.
• By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted the above terms and conditions of using the facilities and confirm that users associated with the hire period use the facilities entirely at their own risk. You agree to ensure that all other users associated with the hire period are made aware of, and adhere to these terms and conditions.
